Until I was three years old, I lived in Lake Hiawatha. All my friends resided there, and I went to day-care there. But one day, my parents decided to move away from the town I had known for my whole, short life.

When we moved to Randolph, it was 2 weeks away from my birthday, and I was very upset. I didn't want my fourth birthday in some strange town. I didn't care for the birds in the trees, or the loads of bushes. I didn't care that the hills sloped. I wanted to go home.

As I stayed in Randolph, I realized something. Sometimes it was a great thing to wake up in the morning and find the birds singing cheerfully outside my window. As I stayed in the town, throughout my years, I realized it was a great place.

Now I am 12 years old. As of now, I appreciate moving here. I wake up every morning to find gentle rays of sunlight creeping through the windows. I love the cool shade the trees give me in Randolph, and the sloping hills that I can ride my bike down.

Randolph is covered with grass, trees, houses, bushes, people! It is dotted with lakes and rivers. And all of this gives Randolph it's overall look of beauty. And that's why I love it here.
